| Fall Baseball Registration is Now CLOSED |

| The Harwinton Cubs defeated the Burlington Red Sox 11-2 to take the AAA Championship this past Saturday in Harwinton. Billy Willett pitched five great innings securing the win on the mound while also collecting two rbi's. Troy Butler came in to close the door on the mound for the Cubs. Henry Cooper collected two hits and Josh Schibi hit a double and a three rbi triple to lead the way offensively for the Cubs. Colby Norton scored three runs for the Cubs. Also collecting hits were Bo Arndt, Zach Nordstrom, Troy Butler, and Cooper Mattiello. The Cubs finished their season 14-1. | The HYSA Baseball Program's mission is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well-adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy, and trustworthy citizens. The HYSA baseball program provides organized instruction for children ages 5 to 12. Our programs are tailored to the age and ability of those participating so that every child receives a quality learning experience. |

| Monday August 16-19 TIMES and COST Diamond King's Summer Camps are Monday to Thursday from 9am to 12:30pm. Weekly registration fees are $125 Non DK Member and $105 week for DK Members . No matter what level you play, you will get better and learn more about YOUR game. What To Bring Bring anything you would bring to a game or practice. Drinks and snacks are recommended as we typically take a short break mid-morning. Coaching & Supervision All players are closely monitored for proper mechanics and safe baseball practices and do not leave the camp location. Diamond Kings Staff Our professional instructors are all current or former college coaches and most have played professionally in the United States or overseas. More importantly, they all share the belief that an exceptional work ethic, positive attitude, coupled with the highest level of professional instruction facilitate self confidence in each player's on-field and off-field abilities. |
| Summer Baseball Program - Starting July 19th |
| Hello Everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and staying cool. I want to notify you all that HYSA Baseball is putting together a series of clinics or practices to continue the very successful season that we have just concluded. The sessions will be operated by some of the coaches from our regular season teams. Each session will have a curriculum that the coaches will follow. We will be starting Monday July 19th, and going thru the month of August. Start time will be promptly at 6:00 PM, end times may vary. There will be no sign ups, just show up at the fields. Please check the HYSA website http://www.harwintonsports.org for cancelations. Please see which session your child is eligible for. The eligibility restrictions are there for safety reasons only, Skill level doesn't matter! Monday Nights Pitchers and Catchers: Divisions AA up thru returning Majors. Tuesday Nights Hitting and Fielding: ages 9-12 year olds.** Thursday Nights Hitting and Fielding: ages 5-8 year olds.** **Age is determined as of 4/30/10.
